Open Broken turned off CD DVD ROM optical drive with Straightened Paper Clip
Learn how to open your CD DVD optical drives by using a straightened paperclip to open the door off your tray loading optical drive on your desktop computer or laptop with a hole in it to open the drive when it is broken.
Only do this tutorial if your computer won't power on, and you need to get a disc back out, or if your DVD CD drive is broken, and won't open or turn on any more.
1. Get a paper clip, and straighten it to make a straight rod/bar. Make the paper clip as straight as possible. It is best to get a paper clip which has a hard metal like steel rather then soft metal like aluminium.

2. Firmly push in the straighten paper clip into a very tiny round hole on the front of the cd or dvd optical drive until the door pops open.
3. Gently pull the door open to take out the DVD or CD disc.
4. Carefully push the CD DVD rom door back in.
