Acetone Smoothing of ABS!!
Hey Youtube,
I am back with my first attempt at acetone smoothing. This can be very dangerous as acetone is both poisonous and flammable so make sure you do this in a well ventilated area away from ignition sources.
I left the model in the acetone vapour for 45 min. This may have been a little too long but the vertical surfaces turned out very smooth. Next time I will need to do a little more prepping on the flat/low slope surfaces to get smoother surfaces.
