Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Part 103 (Postgame): Dino Drama - Bringing Shulk & Fiora to Alrest
Besides unlocking T-elos as a random Rare Blade to awaken (with a pretty high rate to boot), there are a few Archsage Challenges that are also unlocked after beating the game.
One very particular challenge you should focus on is Dino Drama. You will have to fight a Sauros that is leveled much higher than your anyone in your party is able to reach.
I thought I wouldn't be able to do this right now, but thanks to Custom Difficulty, along with remembering how I beat this thing in my very first run of this game back in 2018, I was able to fell the beast anyway and save a lot of time getting this video done.
You’re gonna wanna work on setting up enough Elemental Orbs with your Blade Combos so that you can break them all through Chain Attacks and unleash a Full Burst.

Your reward for beating Dino Drama is the Alrest Linkring. This finally enables Shulk and Fiora to be brought with Rex and his friends to Alrest, making them fully accessible Blades just like what I did with Elma before!
The nature of these two Homs as Blades means that anyone of your non-Tora Drivers can use them anytime you want.

The nature of this game’s connection to Xenoblade 1 and how all of that got revealed in Chapter 10 is why you can’t bring Shulk to Alrest BEFORE beating the game. He’s technically not supposed to be here AT ALL.
The Shulk that is heard from The Architect in the game’s final battle and the Shulk that you can use as a Blade here are more or less the same person at different points in time. The first Shulk was busy finishing off Zanza, while Shulk as a Blade in this game is from an unprecedented time period after he beat Zanza.
Ultimately, aside from Shulk’s quip to Pyra & Mythra in their Super Smash Bros. Ultimate trailer, this meetup between Shulk & Rex and the rest of his friends is completely non-canon and strictly for fanservice (the non-sexy kind, I mean).
No… We’ll have to wait until Xenoblade 3’s DLC story: Future Redeemed, before we can see Shulk & Rex TRULY meet, which is precisely why I finally made and released this video to begin with…
