Shadow the Hedgehog: Story Cycle 4: Part 5: Central City (Hero Mission)
One night, while the Black Arms continued their raid all over the world, the President got an urgent call from his Secretary.
His capital city, Central City, was under attack!
Starting off the level, itself, Shadow stood amongst an army of the black aliens as Black Doom reminded him of the hate and contempt that he had towards humans in the past. How he must now use that hate and contempt against them in the present time...

The placement in of this level means that this level has only two missions:
Dark Mission: Help Black Doom detonate five large bombs that he has planted throughout the city.
Hero Mission: Help Knuckles dispose of 20 smaller bombs throughout the city.
I went for Knuckles' mission, this time, and I'll say ahead of things that this is the only time I feature this level before I'm finished with the game's entire story.
For the Hero Mission, to dispose of the smaller bombs, you can't just blow them up. You need to suck them up with a Vacuum Gun that you've snatched from a Black Arms soldier. Usually this weapon just grabs an enemy and then launches it like a cannonball, but for these bombs, the weapon will just completely "eat" it.
And Knuckles will count every single bomb you've disposed of this way.
As a bonus, if you're unlocked the Egg Vacuum for reaching a Lava Shelter ending in Story Mode, you can just use that instead for the bombs if you want.
Try not to be reckless and blow up these bombs instead, or they won't count towards the total, but there are also ones that automatically explode when you approach them, so those can't really be helped. Thankfully, there ARE more than 20 small bombs to find.
Whether you take on Black Doom's mission or Knuckles' mission, you have 8 minutes to complete a mission at all, or else "THE CITY IS DOOMED!!!"
