Megadeth - "Go To Hell" (Guitar Cover)
A killer tune from the almighty Megadeth line-up from the "Rust In Peace" era. A true "Hidden Treasure" with stellar guitarwork from the iconic duo Mustaine-Friedman. Hard to beat.
Featuring the "Now I lay me down to sleep" prayer before Metallica made it super famous, it's sadly no longer played because Mustaine's change of beliefs... Well Dave, you can go to hell too.
Recording is kept as simple as it gets: Two guitars without edits or effects (just distortion and EQ), each played in one continuous take and panned left (Dave) and right (Marty). The tricky part was getting the two takes of the full song played well enough, but that's woodshedding.
I just wanted to play something different from "Tornado Of Souls"... Enjoy!!
