Morbid Angel - "God Of Emptiness" (FRETLESS Guitar Cover)
One of the tunes that best incarnate Morbid Angel's sick and twisted sound. I thought a fretless version could give it an even sicker twist. Lots of "rough edges" in the intonation of the notes, the mix and a bit of awkward dragging time feel between both guitars, but I think it fits the vibe perfectly.
Top guitar (view from headstock) is in the left channel, and the one from the front is what you can hear in the right channel. Both are recorded in one take, but I wanted to use images from the fantastic original videoclip and they are being superimposed over one of the two video sequences.
