My Take on SmallRig's LP-E6P Battery
After picking up some new Edelkrone motion control hardware which uses Canon LP-E6 series batteries, I found my nearly 15 year old LP-E6s weren't cutting it anymore. So I went looking for some new batteries. Canon's LP-E6P's are almost $80 a piece, so I was looking for something less expensive for this hardware. That brought me to SmallRig's LP-E6P batteries.
At half the price of Canon's, are they half as good, or are they good enough for running some motion control gear, and maybe even a camera?
In this video we'll take a quick look at the SmallRig's LP-E6P battery and how it performs against an OEM one.
