How to Select Text Vertically | Microsoft Office Word | Online Learning

So many people have problem with selecting in Microsoft Office Word. In normal mode when you wanna select a text or a part of it, Microsoft Word select it horizontally. In some cases we need to select a text vertically. Microsoft Word allows you to select the text vertically.
For this action you should use shortcut key and selecting with mouse button to select a text vertically.
Hold Alt key and then select your text. You'll see the text will be selected vertically.
Why should we use vertical text selection in Microsoft Word?
In some texts, we have a list that haven't used the Microsoft Word numbering system. In order to remove the numbers at the first of each line and add the numbering system, you can use the vertical text selection in Microsoft Word.
