Batman Arkham Series on Steam Deck: Setup and Performance
With Gotham Knights just over horizon I figured it was time to check out how all four Batman Arkham games perform on the Steam Deck. Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Origins are all created on Unreal Engine 3 and originally targeted 7th gen consoles and the PC. Because of this these games are easier to run and we can generally get them to hit 60fps at high settings on the Steam Deck. Arkham Knight targeted 8th generation console hardware and PC. Arkham Knight is also built on Unreal Engine 3, but had a horrible original launch on PC. The game is quite a bit more demanding than the other titles, but we can still get it to run acceptably on the Steam Deck.
