XeSS vs FSR 2.0 on Steam Deck
Intel just launched their new temporal upscaling solution XeSS to compete with AMD's FSR and Nvidia's DLSS. XeSS is similar to FSR 2 in regards to it working on a wide variety of graphics cards made by different manufacturers. This means we can utilize Intel's upscaler on the Steam Deck to see how Death Stranding and Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered can handle it on the Steam Deck. XeSS is coming to more games down the line such as The DioField Chronicles, Hitman III, and Unreal Engine. It will be interesting to see how intel supports XeSS moving forward. FSR 2.1 is not available without modding in many titles right now that support both XeSS and FSR 2 so I just stuck with comparing to FSR 2.0 for this video.
