Steelrising on Steam Deck - Best Settings and Performance Analysis
Steelrising is a new Steampunk Souls-like set in an alternative history setting. The game is developed by Spiders best known for their work on Greedfall. Steelrising is quiet a demanding game to play on the Steam Deck, but with the right settings a consistent 30fps experience is attainable. 40fps is not out of the question either, just a bit less consistent here. Luckily AMD FSR 1.0 is built into the game here which helps us attain our frame rate targets. Despite the mixed critical reception I have really enjoyed my time with Steelrising so far and intend to beat it once I finish up a few games I am currently playing. The setting here is very different than many souls-like games with the clockwork automatons and alternate history setting that it really enhances the game.
