Soulstice on Steam Deck: Performance Analysis
Soulstice is a new AA hack and slash action game. The game draws heavily from other properties such as Berserk and Claymore when it comes to character design and world feel. So far the combat has been a fun experience and definitely feels similar to games like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. As as Berserk, DMC and Bayonetta fan I have been looking forward to this one quite a bit. Unfortunately, performance on the Steam Deck is not the best at the moment. Adding shader pre-caching and upscaling options to in game settings would be a massive benefit to this game and make it far more enjoyable on the Steam Deck.
