I didn't know this...
I'm a beginner user.
In this short video.. NOT A TUTORIAL.... it shows how you can make an image background transparent (assuming it's white).
1. To make the background transparent... you could use a online web tool.
Instead... you can use paint 3d if you have windows 10/11
2. In paint 3d , there is a tool at the top call magic tool
3. click on it and follow the instructions to remove your background and make it transparent.
4. When it's done.. you can now copy the image...(or save it as a png).
Now Open gimp so you can paste the image. There is a preferred way of pasting an image... which you don't have to watch but I will say:
5. Open gimp
6. On your new image template,... you can right click and select "Edit"
7. then select "Paste as" ... "New Layer"
If you do a CTRL+V instead.. you will create instead a floating layer... which I heard isn't as good as a regular layer.
Again, you can use an online tool like
https://www.adobe.com/express/feature...
To create an image with free transparent background.
