Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy
An explanation of the Texas Sharpshooter fallacy. This fallacy occurs when one uses the appearance of clustering to conclude a particular cause. It is similar to the False Cause Fallacy. It is a mistake to form a conclusion about causality, based on the appearance of clustering.
