Argument from Silence | Logical Fallacies
An explanation of the argument from silence fallacy, a special case of the argument from ignorance fallacy. This fallacy occurs when you are encouraged to adopt a belief based on silence. It is a mistake to form a conclusion based on the absence of evidence.
