An explanation of the no true Scotsman fallacy. This is a redefinition fallacy and occurs when one updates an argument using adjectives such as ‘true’. When this happens you are hearing one persons view on what they think makes something genuine. It is a mistake to form a conclusion on all things based on this one view.
