Appeal to Futility | Logical Fallacies
An explanation of the appeal to futility fallacy, a type of red herring fallacy. This fallacy occurs when you are encouraged to do something that is perceived to be pointless in the face of some bad event. It is a mistake to form a conclusion based solely on such a link.
