This video describes several helpful requirements for designing and planning a robotic arm project. I explain and show the power supply, servos and additional items required to build a functioning Arduino controlled robotic arm. Several sketch examples for calibration, testing and exersizing the robotic arm are discussed. I also go over the option of delay() vs. no-delay() coding and how it may or may not apply to your design. Included are my working notes and web links that I used as reference during the early stages of my design layout. Lastly, highlighted in the video is the importance of multiple power supplies, the power consumption requirements and expectations when driving multiple servos.
