Seedlings Class at the Denver Botanic Gardens
Did you know the Denver Botanic Gardens has weekly Seedlings classes for toddlers? These hands-on experiences with nature stimulate the senses and meet developmental needs, which are helpful activities for me to put my toddler in as I am always looking for fun education opportunities for my little one.
Attending and watching my child gain interest in plants, doing fun activities, and meeting new friends was so much fun. He engaged in a nature hike around the garden based on identifying colors. Then, he made a wildflower seed ball that he could gift to his Grandma.
After class, we had a delicious lunch at the on-site cafe and toured the art galleries. We can’t wait to attend a Seedlings class again, but spots tend to fill up fast, so if you’re interested, check out their site to make a reservation.
