Driving through Mindo's City Center
My favorite thing to do while traveling is to drive through cities to get a feel of the culture. I also like to pinpoint restaurants, points of interest, and landmarks I want to return to on foot later in my trips. I think of this as pre-planning my adventures before I step on the ground.
Here we are with a local friend, who gave us a tour of the city center in Mindo before we went on our chocolate tour. Listening to his narration as we passed various sights made the experience much more fun and enriching.
