Ashes of Creation - Family Summoning Feature
Sorry if there is a bit of rambling in this one, I ranted without a script just because of how against this Family Summoning / Teleport feature I am. I of course will still play if they don't remove it, but I'd be happier if it wasn't in the game at all. I couldn't collectively express all my thoughts though, there's a ton of deeper ways I feel this will negatively impact the game.
Most of the time, If I talk about 'how it will make the game feel' - I'm trying to refer to the games effects on how we think of it on our minds and how we engage with it, this part of enjoying a game is often overlooked, and I believe tiny things here and there can deeply affect the way we enjoy or get immersed in a world beyond simple gameplay elements, most of the time in ways that we don't realize its happening. I'm sure there are plenty of games you can say that you enjoy or hate, but you aren't exactly able to articulate why.
Something like this teleport, I think, will impact people's connection to the Ashes of Creation world of Verra and how they get immersed in it in a very negative way.
