Ashes of Creation - Pre-Alpha Combat Overview
After making this video I learned from a pre-alpha tester that for ranged weapon attacks in the Ashes of Creation pre- Alpha test it was already possible to swap from tab targetting to aimed based shooting, so at the moment it looks like both options are a possibility. I still think its a question of whether its good to keep both methods of aiming in the game, or if the developers should favor aimed ranged shots over tab targetted shots!
Overall I think the Ashes of Creation combat is shaping up nicely!
