MarketPowerPRO is now equipped with product information tabs. This is a great way to provide more information about your product in the smallest amount of screen real estate possible. When a customer comes to your site to view your products and go shopping, they will view the details and order that product. The product information tab allows you to add specific details such as an additional information tab where they can learn more about the product. Display customer ratings, allowing customers to review the product and pass on a recommendation to their friends driving additional sales. Additional information, ratings and reviews, specifications, shipping rates, and videos are just the default tabs that we have set up for you. You can easily customize them yourself.
The first step to adding a new information tab to a product is to create the tab itself. Go to products' product tab settings. A list of existing tabs are displayed, and you can edit the label or even delete a tab if you no longer need it. Click "add tab" and type in the new tab name. Click "save" and close the tab. Your new tab is now displayed in the list. You'll also notice that at present, none of your products include this new tab. If you want it to, you'll know it'll be safe to remove it.
Now that the tab has been created, you can add it to your products and define the content that'll be displayed. Go to your products list and edit a product. Select the "products tab" tab, the top section displays all of your tabs, the order they're displayed in, and whether they are active for this specific product. Activate the new tab for this product, and it will be added to the [inaudible 00:02:06] editor below. Select the new tab and enter your information. This can be as simple as a line of text or as complex as a full featured mini web page, complete with media and links to other pages.
Rearrange the tabs for this product by dragging or dropping the elements in the top section. Finally, click "save" and close to commit your changes. Other products can be configured differently with different tabs activated, each with their own content. Now within the shop we can see this product has maintained the original tabs configuration, but this product now sports a new tab with information specific to this product.
