Umar bin Khattab Got Goosebumps. The Prophet Talked to the Corpse of Abu Jahl

Amru bin Hisham bin Mughirah al-Makhzumi, was born in 572 AD in Mecca and died in 624 AD in the city of Badr. Amru bin Hisham, also known as Abu Hakam, was one of the leaders of the people of Mecca in the pre-Islamic period. His nickname, "Abu Hakam," means 'father of wisdom' or wise old man. However, his role and views changed dramatically after the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam spread his message. Before the Prophet's preaching, Amru bin Hisham was a figure who was respected and valued by many people. However, when the Prophet Muhammad began to spread the revelation from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and preach to the people of Mecca, Amru bin Hisham became one of the most vehement opponents of him. He rejected the messages of Islam and tried to extinguish the light of truth brought by the Prophet. The story of Amru bin Hisham's change of attitude illustrates how powerful the influence of the Prophet's preaching was and how a person's beliefs can change profoundly. Although initially respected as Abu Hakam, he was eventually remembered as a harsh enemy of the Islamic da'wah. In fact, there was still a brotherly relationship between Abu Hakam and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Abu al-Hakam opposed the da'wah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) by any means, whether through harsh actions or through war. He was one of the most hostile figures to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) at that time. Because of the harsh opposition from Abu Hakam, he eventually got the nickname Abu Jahl, which means the father of foolishness or a foolish person. This nickname reflects his lack of wisdom in opposing the truth brought by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The word "fool" attached to Amr bin Hisham does not fully reflect his lack of intelligence in its true sense. In fact, he was a smart and intelligent figure. However, this nickname arose because of his harsh stance against the teachings of Islam and the da'wah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Amr bin Hisham was the most persistent person in denying the messages of Islam. Despite having extensive knowledge, he chose to oppose the truth brought by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). According to a narration, Abu Jahl actually believed that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the last Prophet sent by Allah. However, his arrogance prevented him from testifying to the faith until the end of his life. Just like Iblis, even though he knew that Allah was the creator of everything, he was still arrogant and refused His command to prostrate to the Prophet Adam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). His arrogance prevented him from following the path of obedience, and he became a living example of how arrogance can prevent someone from following the truth.
