As a filmmaker & sfx artist with a penchant for all things horror, and dealing with several injuries and diseases (many broken vertebrae, 9 bulging discs, a herniated disc, ankylosing spondylitis, suprascapular nerve damage... the list goes on... I did as much as I could possibly do to entertain the few trick or treaters that stopped by.
If I can do this (and believe me, I was in A LOT of pain). I spent all of Nov, 1st laying down on my far infrared heating pad at 150 degrees, I can barely move, but if I can do all this, why can't you? Let's bring back neighborhood trick or treating. The kids deserve to be scared and freaked or grossed out and to be entertained and laugh and scream... it's Halloween!
I never once looked at my phone when I was filming these interactions, so I apologize for the poor everything, and my finger in the lens at one point, but I was busy doing other things, like petting a dog off camera and just trying to lazily capture anything, really; clearly not focused on it the quality, and I missed some of the best interactions!!! Arghghgh!!!!
Oh well, everyone who came by had fun, and there was laughter and smiles (and two kids ran away frightened) so as Borat would say... "Great Success!!!".
P.S. One girl comes by just to take slime. She was there an hour earlier and must've convinced her parents to come back so she could ask if she could have some, lol. AWESOME!
Though I prefer the borax, glue slime recipe; it's just the best, I wanted to do something safer, so I used a 98% water based slime instead. No borax, no glue. Plus I had other safety precautions as you can see.
NOTE: I asked and was given permission to film these interactions from all the parents.
Also, I'm not crediting myself with any of the music used. A lot was royalty free and there's Type O Negative's version of Black Sabbath, but mostly horror movie themes. I didn't write or produce any of the music, and this is for entertainment purposes only, not for profit. Additionally, it's unlisted just so I can share it with the families.
Even though it was "unlisted" Black Sabbath still got a copyright strike on me, but as I'm not profiting off of this or them, they gave me permission to post, so I just made it public, and thank you Black Sabbath!
