It was all fun and games for that first second.

Despite having a broken back (5 broken vertebrae. I had myback brace on TIGHT!) And only 4 days after surgery (not a back surgery though). I was out trying to prevent people from driving through flooded roads in SE North Carolina.
I was telling this guy behind me to stop, waving my hands & motioning for him to turn around.
He stopped, went in reverse 20 feet & then put it back into drive. (So I took out my phone).
I knew what he was doing and I knew he'd never make it. 🤦♂️
Yeah... going fast doesn't work.
If you can't see the lines on the road, then the water is too deep. If you're unsure, don't do it; it's not worth it.
Listen to stormchasers! We know a thing or two.
