Glacier National Park Lodging Apgar Village Lodge http://glacier.nationalparkhotelslodg... I liked this place as it was not as crowded as Lake McDonald. Standard small cabins.
Apgar Village Lodge is located within Glacier National Park, 2 miles from West Glacier Village. The Lodge's cabins and motel units are set amidst the old growth cedars along the southern end of Lake McDonald and the shores of McDonald Creek.
The West Glacier Restaurant offers casual family dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have something for every taste, including homemade soups, pies and baked goods that you'll want to take home with you. We would be glad to prepare a sack lunch for the day.

A Review, Just as other reviewers have said, the view is absolutely perfect. I love my morning quiet time sitting in front of the lake with my coffee. The bed is narrow. My husband missed his wi-fi but I'm okay with it. Interior is dated, but it's nice to have a bedroom (2nd floor) to separate our kids.
They have brewed coffee in a coffee maker in the check-in office. But when we asked for a cup to get the coffee, we were told that they didn't have any. No effort even trying to get a paper one from the cleaning staff. Why bother having coffee there then...
