Regardless of whether you fear a relationship, opening up to another person, or opening up to the Love of the Creator—Bentinho shares that ultimately you feel vulnerable and have fear because you have to sacrifice some of your more personal wants, needs, desires, biases, and belief systems in order to be able to receive God’s Love.
This fear of having something to lose is discussed as the God in you having become deluded and deceived by your sense of having a body, by your physical senses, and by the indoctrination of your society. In other words, what you're fearing as the “something to lose” is your personal self’s delusions.
