ਮਾਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਮਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਣੇ- ਪਛਾਣੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਕ ਹਨ। ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾਉਣ ਖਾਤਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਆਰੋਪ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ 'ਸੂਹੀ ਸਵੇਰ' ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸੰਪਾਦਕ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ
