Night Police Laser Ambush: Veil G6, Escort MAXcam 360c, and Uniden R8
We believe this is yet another police laser encounter in which Veil G6 made it difficult for the officer to get a speed/distance reading on our vehicle.
The Escort MAXcam 360c continued to alert well after we passed the patrol vehicle leading us to believe that the officer continued targeting us from the rear in an attempt to obtain our speed going away since it appeared he had difficulty as we approached.
This is another example where a good laser detector like that of the Escort MAXcam 360c shows its advantages over other radar detectors (such as the Uniden R8) which doesn't detect police lidar as well.
