One of LFSD’s priorities this year is spotlighting our collaborative partnerships and advocacy efforts with Overdue, a series of discussions highlighting community leaders, their stories, and how libraries play an essential role in their work.
The first discussion in this series was with Downtown San Diego Partnership CEO Betsy Brennan. On September 7, 2023, Library Foundation SD CEO Patrick Stewart and Betsy discussed the downtown area, how the library system exists in that ecosystem, and future opportunities for our two organizations to meet the community’s needs.
