The New 2024 E-Class Mercedes-Benz — represents a thoughtful evolution of luxury, blending advanced technology with traditional elegance. While the automaker has made strides with its EV offerings, the new E-Class maintains the classic appeal of a luxury sedan while embracing modern tech enhancements.
Visually, the E-Class exudes sophistication, resembling the S-Class in its graceful design. LED elements in the taillights form the iconic Mercedes star, reinforcing its premium status.

Inside, the cabin strikes a balance between tech-infused minimalism and opulent comfort. Rear legroom is generous, and trunk capacity has increased to an impressive 19 cubic feet.
The highlight of the interior is the expansive Superscreen digital interface, integrating a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 14.4-inch touchscreen, and an optional 12.3-inch passenger display. The MBUX operating system offers AI programming that learns user behavior and customizable routines, making the driving experience intuitive and enjoyable. The abundance of ambient lighting and the premium Burmester audio system elevates the cabin ambiance.

In the United States, the E-Class will initially be available in two models: the E350 4Matic and E450 4Matic, both equipped with all-wheel drive and a 48-volt hybrid system. The turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine in the E450 produces 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, offering a smooth and quiet ride with ample power for comfortable long-distance driving.

On the road, the new E-Class demonstrates competence and agility, thanks to optional air springs and rear-axle steering. Its disciplined body control and creamy ride enhance the driving experience, even on larger 21-inch wheels. The E450 is estimated to reach 60 mph in the low-four-second range, while fuel economy should remain similar to its predecessor's 26-mpg combined rating.
Pricing details for the new Mercedes E-Class are still under wraps, but we can expect the increases over the previous 4Matic sedans' entry points—$60,400 for the E350 and $66,700 for the E450—to be relatively modest. The E-Class has a remarkable legacy of over 75 years, holding its place as a staple in the brand's lineup and serving various roles worldwide, from taxi duty to creating a luxurious cocoon for its passengers. Mercedes has struck the right balance with the latest E-Class, incorporating modern tech advancements while being mindful not to rush its iconic evolution.
