Adversity is Like Metaphorical Debt
The last couple of years have shown small business owners that easy times are not guaranteed. “Adversity,” says entrepreneur Jeremiah Fox in this video, “is going to be there. It is going to show up in a bunch of different ways, and the more you can prepare yourself mentally for that adversity, the better you situate yourself for capitalizing on successful moments when they arrive. It's metaphorical debt,” he says. “You have to face that and you have to say to yourself, okay, how do we fix this? How do we make ourselves OK with that catastrophic failure?”
