Triumph TR7 coolant top-off
Good afternoon,
I have a tiny coolant leak at the very top of my plastic expansion tank. It's been like this for a while. Mind you, do not take any chances with your TR7 being low on coolant, as you will cause engine damage like a warped head and blown head gasket. So today I'm just topping off my coolant and I soon will repair the tiny leak or replace the plastic expansion tank. Take this video with a grain of salt. What I mean is look up the TR7 coolant fill procedure in the shop manual beforehand so you can ensure a successful coolant fill. My car has never overheated since I've owned it and runs at proper temperature - never ran hot so I'm going to keep it that way. Happy Motoring !
