00:10 SWIG - 400 NW CHIPMAN ROAD
Swig is coming to Summit Orchards Shopping Center. The unique drive-thru soda shop offers over 200 combinations of “dirty sodas,” a blend of soda, coffee creamer, flavored syrups and other flavorful add-ins. Swig also offers energy drinks, hot chocolates, cookies and pretzel bites. Swig Soda Shop will open in late Spring 2024. (400 NW Chipman Road)

St. Luke’s East Hospital is expanding its Lee’s Summit campus. The addition will bring three new operating rooms and create more capacity for oncology, orthopedics and OB-GYN, as well as new programs to the campus like vascular and thoracic services. The expansion is slated for completion in 2025. (100 NE St Lukes Boulevard)

Pegah’s Family Restaurant will be serving Lee’s Summit this Spring! The made-from-scratch, homestyle restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. Scissors & Scotch is coming to Streets of West Pryor next to Cava. The barbershop specializes in grooming and hair services, and every customer is served a drink. The establishment offers premium liquors, handcrafted cocktails, beers on tap and coffee. Membership options are available as well. Scissors & Scotch is slated to open in 2024. (904 NW Pryor Road)
01:24 TAILOR MADE LANDING - 1550 SE HAMBLEN ROAD
The 49,000-square-foot training facility, Tailor Made Landing, has started construction. Located off of Hamblen Rd in south Lee’s Summit, the building will have four full-size basketball and volleyball courts, one baseball infield and concessions. Tailor Made Landing will be opening in 2025. (1550 SE Hamblen Road)
