have you ever been driving around Lee's Summit and wondered what's that going to be what's being built there wow that went up fast the development minute is here to help highlighting some of the newest projects in Lee's Summit Missouri Frost coffee and tea has opened in downtown Lee Summit the Jack Frost Donuts of the 1970s has returned to the corner of Southwest Main and 3rd Street with a variety of coffees teas treats and breakfast sandwiches also the original recipe donuts are available on Fridays and Saturdays while supplies last Calaveras Mexican restaurant has opened in downtown Lee's Summit on Southwest Main Street the new addition to the historic area offers a wide selection of cocktails lunch and dinner options tacos handhelds and more it boasts a Chic interior with mirrored glass chandeliers and dramatic black themes throughout the building the Lee Summit Commerce Center near i-470 and 50 Highway is underway the 781 thousand square foot Industrial Development sits on 75 acres of land and will include three buildings a 430 thousand square foot build a 238 thousand square foot build and a 113 000 square foot field slated to be completed in early 2023 the Lee Summit R7 school district's transformation of Paradise Park is in progress the building on the former entertainment Park will soon be home to the Great Beginnings Early Education Center at Paradise Park where all the district's current satellite programs will relocate the campus will host Enviro Environmental Studies and Hospitality programs for high school students those students will operate the batting cages go-karts and mini golf as a part of their programming Elementary School science field trips are also in store for the site the district has additional plans for the 15-acre campus expected to open in 2023 streets of West prior Vanguard Villas are under construction on Northwest black twig Circle there will be 83 two-story townhomes for rent the new development will be adjacent to the signature at West prior two apartment buildings with 184 units together they will share a pool and Clubhouse occupancy of the first units will be available in the next few weeks and will continue to open more units for the coming months up to Summer 22 three two new banks are being built in the streets of West prior Chase Bank will be over 3 200 square feet with an ATM and drive-through Lane and PNC Bank will be over 2 700 square feet with an ATM and drive-through Lane as well both banks will be open in 2023. Cava a Mediterranean healthy fast casual restaurant is slated to arrive in early 2023. it will offer nutritious bowls pitas and more
