The Avoidable Mess McLaren Created at the Hungarian GP
What should have been a straightforward one-two for McLaren in Hungary almost turned into a complete breakdown of team and driver relations. The team's decision to pit Lando Norris before team-mate and race leader Oscar Piastri was a decision that caused an uncomfortable ending to the grand prix and was a situation that could and should have easily been avoided. It proves that while McLaren may have the best car, they remain a long way off from where they need to be.
