Why McLaren Must Start to Back Norris Over Piastri
McLaren's unwillingness to apply team orders in Lando Norris' favour has been hotly debated since the Italian Grand Prix. It remains keen to give both drivers a fair shot, even if Norris is their the only realistic shot at the title. McLaren is treading water carefully to avoid upsetting either driver, but it is arguably hurting them more. Time is running out for Lando to whittle down his 62-point deficit to Max Verstappen. Without Piastri's support, it could be too little too late.
