How to Add DROP CAPS on WordPress (Large First Letter)
In this video, I will show you how to add DROP CAPS to WordPress pages and posts.
Drop caps are the large, decorative capital letters at the beginning of a paragraph that extend down several lines of text. These are sometimes used in books or articles to add a stylistic touch and draw attention to the start of the text.
WordPress actually has drop caps built into it as a native feature, so we don't need to install plugins or anything to add them.
📋 Written Steps:
1. Open up the page or post we want to add the drop caps to, in the editor.
2. In the right menu, click the 3 dots beside "Typography" and choose "Drop cap".
3. Toggle the new "Drop cap" switch ON.
4. Update the page or post.
And that's how easy it is to add DROP CAPS on WordPress.
Note: The style of the drop caps will depend on the theme we're using.
