Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus: Hebijo Mission 3-03: Reason for Treason: (Ryona)
For the third round of this Shinobi Battle Royale, Hebijo's Ryona will face Gessen's Yozakura, one of Ryona's old friends and classmates.
When Gessen fought Hanzo before, Yozakura went after Hibari, but since Ryona killed her, first, Yozakura was upset about it. She is also likewise upset that Ryona left Gessen for Hebijo, even though Ryona was completely okay with her decision. Yozakura asked her for one good reason why she joined Hebijo, but Ryona said it was top secret...
That's when Yozakura figured things out from there... It had something to do with Ryona and Ryobi's older sister, Ryoki...
This was enough to make Ryona drop her usual bubbly tone. Fortunately for her, Yozakura didn't tell anyone else at Gessen about Ryoki, but now... Ryona was actually quite pissed, and wanted things to stay that way by ending Yozakura's life.
Here's a side of Ryona you don't get to see too often. Knowing about this at all makes her a bit scarier in hindsight to me, really...

For Mission 3-03, use Ryona to beat Yozakura. Although she remains her bubbly self during gameplay, within the context of the story itself, she's probably still mad as hell and actually has no time for pleasure from pain.

Ryona has successfully struck down her former friend Yozakura. She really didn't want to do it. She didn't even want to leave Gessen at all, but nobody besides her twin sister, Ryobi, could ever know about the death of their older sister, Ryoki, and how they were both out to avenge her. This is their big plan at Hebjio.
Imu approaches Ryona and sees that she has taken out Yozakura. She didn't expect much from her compared to Ryobi, but after seeing her victory, Imu now considers Ryona a great Hebijo student and teammate. Ryona accepts the compliments, but feels very solemn about it based on her reason for being at Hebijo.
After having to kill one of her own old friends, all Ryona could think about to herself is avenging Ryoki, but who killed her?

This was pretty tragic compared to Ryona and Yozakura's interactions in the Gessen storyline...
