Up Potting Tomato Plants for fall
Quick video of me up potting some tomato plants in preparation to plant them in the fall garden in the coming weeks. This is only one small batch of our tomatoes and include: Carbon, Great White, Black Beauty, and Cherokee Purple.
When potting up tomatoes, you want to make sure you place them as deep into the container as you can. Tomatoes will grow roots along the entire distance of the stem that is in contact with the soil. The more roots, the better your plant will do.
