A look back at my first mod (a.k.a. first video made on the new PC)
Finally got that new PC, time to make a video. I'm less than a month late, but hey, I was up to the ears in other projects.
The video rendered in 13 minutes in HitFilm (2,01 GB), and compressed in Handbrake (137 MB) in about 10 minutes or so. Source resolutions are 1280x960 (most of the time), 1280x800 and 1920x1080. The video was rendered in 1280x720 at 60fps.
I might make a comparison between the new PC and my old laptop sometime soon. :)
Since I had no other option, I watched that trailer on ModDB and recorded it. The original video is most probably lost, as well as a good part of the latest version of the mod.
2015 was definitely a good learning year for me, either way. :)
I also forgot to explain these few things:
acdm_ stands for "Action Deathmatch", which was basically co-op for the mod. Deathmatch because it was basically HLDM with NPCs. Players could still kill each other.
fd_ is "First Day", meant for the training maps.
