Installing ITX Design Studio on Microsoft Windows
It may seem real simple, but installing the IBM Transformation Extender Design Studio can come with a couple of ‘gotchas’!
In today’s high-security user endpoints (desktop and laptop PCs) getting a successful and useable Design Studio installation is easy, if you follow a few simple steps:
Prepare your installation directory (full control for users)
Start the process from a known good shell (Command Prompt / Powershell) that has administrator authority
Disable overly-protective Anti-Virus software if necessary
