Natlan Archon Quest Chapter V ACT I | Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn (Genshin Impact)

A competition as fierce as a roaring inferno, and a clash as dazzling as a cascade of iridescent gems.On a hallowed night, the sparks ignited by warriors fall like stars, converging into the triumphant return of the sacred flame.

Spoiler Warning:

I just finished Natlan yesterday, and I have to say already like this new region right off the bat. Just like Fontaine, it was absolutely a delight and Hoyo definitely outdid themselves with this one. I love how colorful Natlan is, and the way added so much life in this nation is very moving for me.

Ever since Enkanomiya, I've always been interested with lore concerning the lore of the old world, and the Primordial One who came another world. So this is absolutely a delight knowing that we're in the nation of dragons, as I am expecting a lot of their stuff from here. Of course, this doesn't just include the Archon Quest of this nation, but also the World Quests Series, which I'm most looking forward to.

If my hunch is correct, I think this may be the first time where the World Quest would play a pivotal role in the future Archon Quest, but that's just speculating due to the Traveler's encounter with the baby Tepetlisaur, which I named LittleChunk, because why the hell not.

First, the Land of Many Echoes. Holy crap, I was just vibing in that place for who knows how long, the sound and the atmosphere was really nice there. The dancing was pretty sick as well, and I love how everyone is just having fun in that place. The Tepetlisaurs are by far my favorite, they look the cutest, although the baby Yumkasaurs are a really close second.

I absolutely love the new playable characters. Kachina is absolutely adorable and a good kid. Honestly, I didn't think I would like her this much, but they made her such a sweet kid, it's just endearing. Her friendship with Mualani is very nice to see, I love seeing characters just really getting along well and supporting each other, even though banters are lot more fun, and add more friction.

Speaking of Mualani, she's a cool girl and bubbly, and it adds that she's voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris, which is hilarious because I just hear Morgana having that upbeat and caring nature, which is totally not like the latter. Though, I do wish we could have spent more time with the Meztli, but I suppose we'll get that in a story quest. Aesthetically speaking, their place looks really nice, I'm kind of jelly that their day to day lives involves living in a home that is perfect for vacation.

Kichin was someone I didn't expect. I haven't played his Story Quest, so maybe I'll get more from him once I do that. But I was expecting him to be a lot colder and distant, so I was a bit shocked that he's quite the nice guy, and quite outspoken too, despite his limited screen time compared to Mualani and Kachina. I am very interested with him, especially with his 8-bit mini dragon, Ajaw. This is the same reaction I have when I first met Neuvillette, I didn't expect him to be that cordial. Do note that I don't really read Hoyo's community post because I really like going in blind, so I'm not up to date for whatever information there are in the character intros.

The npcs were really interesting to say the least, Chief Pacal was pretty cool, Atea being buddies with the Pyro Archon was definitely interesting. It kind of tells you what sort of person the Pyro Archon, Mavuika is like to her people. You see this early on, how people talk about her with respect and admiration.

Traveler's ability to purify impurities from the abyss being bought back was certainly a surprised. I thought that was buried ever since it 1.0 version, like they actually remembered it? I'm just baffled really. By the looks of it, it would seem the Traveler has a bigger role to play in this nation, which makes sense as this nation is the most pivotal before our awaited meeting with the Tsaritsa.

As always, the Abyss just ruins everything as always. As much as people hate Celestia, when shit hits the fan, only the First Descender seems to have any power to do something with the Abyss' bullshit. You might not like them for usurping the dragons, and nuking everyone below with the divine nails, but knowing how the Abyss works makes the usurpers just seems preferable.

I want to write more, but I'm already reaching count limit, so that's about it. And honestly, I think I'll just continue on the next video.
