Building a three-storey building in ten days!
Constructed entirely out of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and Glue lam, this mass timber building is in the heart of North Vancouver’s Shipyard District. An extremely challenging zero lot line site on a busy corner, this project required sophisticated BIM and VDC work prior to the actual on-site assembly. To add another layer of challenge, If successful, it could become one of the worlds first Passive House Certified commercial buildings of it’s kind. It will house a restaurant on the main floor and 2 levels of office space above.
