Fired heater is direct- fired heat exchanger that uses the hot combustion gases to raise the temperature of a process fluid flowing through the coils of tubes arranged inside the heater. Fired heaters are among the most complex pieces of process control equipment.

Fired heaters are used throughout hydrocarbon and chemical processing industries such as refineries, gas plants, petrochemicals, process plants and fertilizer plants. Watch the video to learn more.
