Bubble point and dew point calculation is a step in the determination of number of theoretical stages in the design of multicomponent distillation column. Thus for those studying multicomponent distillation and those who are involved in the design of distillation columns understanding how they are calculated is key part of their leanings. This video focuses on explaining the equilibrium distribution coefficient or the K – value and how to calculate the dew point and bubble point of a multicomponent mixture using the K – value method.
