Function Style Mutton Curry In Pressure Cooker| Mutton Health Benefits
Ingredients:
Mutton (goat) curry cut with bones – 500 gms
Onion – 5 (Sliced thin)
Ginger garlic paste – 3 tsp
Tomato –2
Curd – 100 ml
Bay leaf – 1
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Cinnamon stick – 1 inch piece
Green cardamom – 5
Black cardamom – 1
Cloves – 4
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
Table salt – 2 tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Groundnut oil – 3 tbsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves
Procedure:
1) Into a pressure cooker add onions, ginger garlic paste, tomato, curd, mutton, bay leaf, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, table salt, coriander powder, hot groundnut oil
2) Mix gently as shown in video
3) Pressure cook on medium flame for 1 whistle
4) Switch off the flame, allow it to cool, release the pressure
5) Now mix well
6) Cover (with normal lid) and cook on medium flame till almost the total water evaporates (It will take around 20-25 mins)
7) Keep mixing in-between
8) Add garam masala powder, kasuri methi, mix well
9) Add 350 ml water, give a mix
10) Pressure cook on medium flame for 5 whistles
11) Switch off the flame, allow it to cool, release the pressure
12) Add coriander leaves, mix and serve it with rice or chapati
Note: If you don’t have a measuring cup, regular teacup will be approximately 100 ml (100 gms)
