6 things YOU NEED to start YouTube channel
6 things you need to start a YouTue channel is a list of things you need to consider when planning to start shooting your own youtube videos. The beauty of YouTube video making is, that it depends only on you and your preferences. Do you plan to shoot high production quality content or just covering your day to day life in vlogs? Based on your niche you may need a high quality equipment or just a smartphone you already have. I personally live in the middle. I like the affordable quality. For me the Sony A7IV is a great choice along with the Sony 24-70 F2.8 GMII. It has small footprint, it's lightweight and as a hybrid shooter, I can shoot both photos and videos with one camera + lens combo.
Except of the camera gear, there are also other things to consider when starting a YouTube channel. Where do you want to shoot your videos? How do you plan to edit them? Are you going to need a laptop, PC, or will you edit them on your phone? If your go to option is a PC / laptop what editing software are you going to use? Adobe Premiere Pro, FinalCut or maybe even Davinci Resolve?
Another huge thing when it comes to video / film making in general is audio. You can pretty much get away with not so good image quality if your audio is solid. However if you'll have 8K RED RAW footage edited together with noisy and low quality audio, you will loose your audience.
