Make DIGITAL Photos LOOK Like FILM
How to make your digital photos look like they were shot on film? In this video I will show you the Dehancer plugin for Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. The environment is pretty self explanatory and intuitive. You can use pre-made presets which you can tweak to your liking. If you want to build up your own look just choose "Profiles" and choose from many available film stocks and use other tools like Film Developer, Film Compression, Print, Film Grain and more.

Shooting digital is really convenient, but many photographers these days incline towards shooting photos on film. Film gives your photos certain look without editing and grading raw image. This film look is composed of specific color "filter" depending on the particular film stock, but also of film imperfections. These imperfections are film grain and various defects. With digital camera you can also achieve grainy / noisy image, but digital noise caused by high ISO is not realy pleasing to the eye. The Dehancer Lightroom and photoshop plugin allows you to emulate many of these film qualities on your digital photos. You can emulate film look on various popular negative, positive, motion picture and experimental film stocks, you can control film compression, film development, printing process and of course the most wanted analogue looking film grain.
